Enrico Pellizzoni was born from a deep passion for leather and design that has accompanied the family for more than a century. Based in Mariano Comense (Como), in the heart of Brianza, this heritage continues to guide the company’s approach to design and manufacturing, combining the Italian tradition of leather craftsmanship with contemporary innovation.

Sustainability lies at the heart of the company’s work. Enrico Pellizzoni uses exclusively full-grain European leather, tanned in Tuscany with vegetable extracts in compliance with strict environmental standards, giving new value to materials sourced from the food industry. Each product combines specialised manual techniques with modern technologies, while hand-finished details express the finest Italian craftsmanship. Designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, the collections are developed in collaboration with Italian and international designers to combine comfort, elegance, durability, and a contemporary luxury aesthetic.

The versatility of the collections makes them ideal for high-end contract and hospitality projects. Enrico Pellizzoni supports architects, interior designers, and design studios with technical consultancy, material specification, 2D and 3D files, and prototype development for tailored solutions. Certified materials and components, compliant with international standards including BIFMA and CAL TB 117, ensure the safety, performance, and durability required for demanding hospitality environments.

Selection of Hospitality Projects by Enrico Pellizzoni:

Located in Midtown and inspired by the rhythm of each New York City block, Aldo Sohm Wine Bar channels the vibrant energy of Manhattan while preserving the relaxed intimacy of Aldo’s own living room. The interior unfolds as a warm, inviting “living room” belonging to a renowned sommelier. At its heart lies a large custom-designed sofa resting on a bespoke rug, illuminated by sculptural glass spheres that cast a soft, atmospheric glow. A series of wooden screens gently encloses the space, offering privacy and enveloping guests in the natural warmth of wood. The central bar—open at both ends—encourages a shared experience: patrons can sit alongside the sommelier, engaging directly in the bar’s activity. This gesture recalls the conviviality of a high kitchen counter in a contemporary home, where conversation and craft naturally intertwine. High tables and the central bar frame the lower lounge area, creating a dynamic interplay of heights and perspectives. All seating around the bar and high tables features the Pasqualina Stool XL, a model tailored for commercial environments—durable, comfortable, and fully upholstered in our natural Contract saddle leather. Colorful, playful artworks animate the walls. Artists were invited to create pieces with light-hearted messages, adding a vibrant, witty counterpoint to the refined atmosphere.

The Royal Hotel Sanremo (Italy), a five-star hotel on the Riviera di Ponente, stands in Liguria surrounded by an ancient park and directly overlooking the sea. For the renovation of the bar area we were engaged by Pellizzoni: the Lawrence Lounge, the heart of the lobby, was redesigned with a contemporary, striking and welcoming aesthetic. Here signature mixology and exceptional cuisine meet to offer a unique sensory experience at any time of day. At Pellizzoni’s proposal, in collaboration with STRAND ENGINEERING and agent Roberto Pella, the seating choice fell on the Pasqualina line, an icon of the brand. The armchairs, fully upholstered in natural leather, combine comfort with a timeless aesthetic, ideal for refined settings. For the counter, the Pasqualina XL stools were selected—the more international version—upholstered in burgundy leather that harmonizes chromatically with the counter structure. A visual fil rouge connects the bar area to the foyer dedicated to dining: around refined bar tables the Pasqualina armchairs in Bulgaro finish were placed, a designer product that welcomes guests with elegance and comfort at any time of day.

La Nave Bistrot, located within the Malta National Aquarium Complex in Qawra (Malta), enjoys a privileged position with panoramic views of three islands: the enchanting Gozo, the luminous Comino, and the evocative St. Paul’s Island. For this project Pellizzoni supplied the RO separé in the freestanding version, chosen to articulate and enhance the spaces of the large dining room. The RO dividers, featuring leather-clad slats that rotate around a metal tube, create a dynamic and permeable partition, offering privacy without interrupting the visual continuity of the environment. In collaboration with the venue’s general manager, the most suitable finishes were selected. Thanks to the work of the Pellizzoni design team, the project was developed as a bespoke solution with the production of 10 units in two different heights, perfectly integrated into the restaurant’s architecture.
