GREEN | Loloey

IC4HD-HDExpo2021-Loloey_Green

Loloey provides high-quality custom floor coverings, servicing clients worldwide.

Loloey aims to reduce the impact of the company’s operations on the environment and commits to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness at all levels.

Loloey rugs and carpets have received the most rigorous environmental certifications:

  • Green Label Plus for Indoor Air Quality
  • GRS Global Recycling Standard for PET area rugs
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental management

Loloey makes great use of natural fibers and encourages its clients to use them whenever possible: wool for axminster carpets; wool, silk, bamboo silk, felt, linen for hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs.

Wool is a key component (80%) of Loloey Axminster carpet. This material can stand up to the heaviest of foot traffic due to its naturally existing crimp, providing built-in resilience and structural integrity. Wool can be used to create products that are renewable, reusable, and recyclable. As a result, it can contribute to a project’s certification under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program in two Materials and Resources (MR): Rapidly Renewable Materials and Low-emitting Materials.

Loloey also offers a range of recycled fibres: wool (suitable for contract and hospitality projects), PET yarns obtained from plastic bottles (which can be used outdoor), nylon fibres from fisherman nets, as well as recycled viscose.

Come and meet Loloey at the upcoming HD Expo Las Vegas, August 24-25, 2021.

IC4HD HDExpo2021 Lea Ceramiche 520 West New York

PROJECTS | Lea Ceramiche | 520 West New York

IC4HD HDExpo2021 Lea Ceramiche 520 West New York

Material and technical qualities coupled with the aesthetic values of Lea Ceramiche‘s materials enter the 520 West 28th architectural complex, Zaha Hadid Architects’ first residential project in New York.

Located between the High Line and 28th Street, the architecturally striking building was designed to dialogue with the lively surrounding urban environment, the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan. The eleven floors, which encompass a total of 39 apartments, each with its own identity and different viewpoints of the neighborhood, feature a series of volumes that flow into each other, intertwining. The outer envelope, characterized by large glass windows and curved steel lines, is a clear hallmark of the style of the great architect, who won the Pritzker Prize and died prematurely in 2016. The innovative and modern design also distinguishes the building’s interiors, not only the futuristic, over 3 meter-high apartments designed by Jennifer Post Design and West Chin Architects, but also the 25-meter covered swimming pool, the IMAX cinema, the gym, the underground garage with a robotic system, and meticulously designed spaces that have made the futuristic building the new icon of the New York skyline.

METROPOLIS by Lea Ceramiche is the collection selected for the building’s Back of House areas. Presented in the Tokyo White color, it creates surfaces with a neutral and bright color; the series’ essential and contemporary style adapts very harmoniously to the setting, making the spaces airy and welcoming. Metropolis is also characterized by the special Protect antibacterial protection integrated in the material, which guarantees healthy, safe and protected environments, offering a perfect mix of aesthetic pleasure, quality, comfort, functionality and durability.

New Entry to Hospitality Design Expo 2021: Grassi Pietre

IC4HD-HDExpo2021-GrassiPietre_newentry

IC4HD is very pleased to add another new entry to the group: GRASSI PIETRE

Since 1850 the Grassi family has been quarrying and fabricating Cut to Size, Palladio’s Vicenza stone, extracted from their own quarries in the Berici Hills (Vicenza – Italy). Today, Grassi Pietre continues this tradition with care and passion, combining its artisanal know-how using the most modern technologies available in the stone processing and production.

Among the most iconic products of Grassi Pietre is the ARRAY  wall, designed by Debiasi Sandri studio.

A wall in Vicenza stone that looks like a natural picture. Composed by tiles with different textures and color standing out from a back wall in Grigio Argento rullato finish.
