Lea Ceramiche’s collections were chosen for the flooring and part of the wall cladding. Particularly noteworthy are the use of Basaltina Stone Project, which captures the natural elegance of stone, and Dreaming, a faithful rendering of the finest marbles.

NEXTONE

hd expo hdexpo ic4hd

Lea Ceramiche presents at HD Expo 2018 the new collection Nextone.

This is a collection of traditional thickness which achieves an engineered stone effect.
Combining stones from four different quarries, whose characteristics are fused together, and adding original graphic designs, creates a stone which doesn’t exist in nature, but has a natural aesthetic quality and a very balanced effect.
A decorative style is present in the collection and is expressed in three contemporary textures: Line, Dot and Mark re-create lightweight effects that can be combined with natural and honed finishes of the base modules, to create flowing, coordinated environments.

Lea Ceramiche provided its Slimtech ultra thin slabs for the covering of the common areas of Carlos Rosario International PCS Cooking School.

Slimtech is Lea Ceramiche series featured by the innovative large thin slabs of 5.5mm thick which combine extraordinary lightness, strength (thanks to the exclusive fibreglass reinforcement) and sustainability, due to production with reduced environmental impact regarding the use of raw materials and emissions.

CARLOS ROSARIO INTERNATIONAL CULINARY SCHOOL

The building of the Carlos Rosario International PCS cooking school in Washington, DC (project by Shinberg Levinas Architects) was inaugurated in November 2013 and contains a resource centre, offices, English and computer science classrooms, four culinary laboratories with kitchens, and a large caffetteria. In the luminous common areas, which visually interact with the exterior, Lea Ceramiche‘s ultra-thin slabs of laminated porcelain clad the entire surface area, echoing the exterior cladding which also made use of large slabs applied on a thermal insulation system.
